24th CAREC Customs Cooperation Committee Meeting

The 24^th Meeting of the CAREC Customs Cooperation Committee (CCC) provided a critical platform for member countries to assess progress in implementing the CCC Work Plan 2024-2025 and to align ongoing and future initiatives with the broader goals of the CAREC Integrated Trade Agenda (CITA) 2030.

As global and regional trade dynamics continue to evolve, CAREC countries face shared challenges and opportunities in enhancing trade facilitation, advancing digitalization, strengthening risk profiling and targeting, and promoting sustainable practices through green initiatives. In line with this, the meeting facilitated strategic discussions among member countries to collaborate and deliberate in priority customs modernization areas, exchange country experiences, and identify areas where coordinated action and technical support can deliver the greatest impact.
