Policy and Management Mechanisms for Economic Development Areas

The workshop focused on the set up and management of economic development areas, using case studies and site visits of development zones along the border of the People’s Republic of China. Topics covered included policies for economic development areas, logistics, and management mechanisms and models. Participants visited Urumqi’s high-technology development area and export processing area.
