Global Health Security Summit in Pakistan discusses building health sector resilience and trade facilitation

ADB supported Pakistan’s first Global Health Security Summit held on 10-11 January 2024, chaired by the Caretaker Prime Minister Mr. Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar in Islamabad. The summit brought together over 580 international and national participants to discuss global preparations for future public health hazards including those caused by climate change. With CAREC program support, ADB supported participants also engaged in trade facilitation discussions in the health sector.
