CAREC Energy Sector Coordinating Committee 1st Subcommittee Meeting for Pillar 1: Energy Supply/Demand Balance and Infrastructure Constraints

Highlights of the subcommittee meeting included a review of the inception report on the Power Sector Regional Master Plan, prepared by Fichtner Gmbh & Co. under the Asian Development Bank’s research and development technical assistance funding.

Discussions with the respective utilities in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and the Coordinating Dispatch Center focused on enhancing implementation of the regional technical assistance and identification of future energy projects in the region.
