Training on Customs Modernization for CAREC Countries
The 2-week training covered key subjects related to modernization of customs management:
- customs information systems and e-port development,
- risk management,
- special customs zone management, and
- customs compliance facilitation.
Senior and mid-level officials from customs agencies of eight CAREC countries attended the training.
The Asian Development Bank and the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China, through the Shanghai Customs College, co-sponsored the workshop for CAREC customs officers.
