Consultation Meeting with the CAREC National Focal Points (2013)

CAREC national focal points met to review deliverables and preparations for the 12th Ministerial Conference on CAREC scheduled in Astana, Kazakhstan in October.

Participants discussed (i) the Midterm Review of the CAREC Transport and Trade Facilitation Strategy; (ii) initial draft of the new Trade Policy Strategy and Action Plan; (iii) updates from the Energy Sector Coordination Committee meeting held on 10–11 September 2013 in Almaty, Kazakhstan; (iv) draft of the methodology review of the Development Effectiveness Review; and (v) progress in CAREC Institute knowledge work.
