Regional Preparatory Meeting on CAREC

The Regional Preparatory Meeting was a key step in the preparation of the coming Second Ministerial Conference on CAREC to be held in the same venue on 11-12 November 2003. Senior officials from member countries of the regional cooperation program and observers from invited multilateral institutions participated in the meeting.

The meeting provided the venue for sharing views and ideas that help find common grounds for further dialogue and consideration in the Second Ministerial Conference.
