Regional Transport Development Project
Summary
The technical assistance (TA) final report will (a) prepare a project loan for the second phase of the Western Regional Road Project, including the specific components to be financed by Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Government of Mongolia; (b) prepare a project loan for developing a logistics facility in Ulaanbaatar to be financed by ADB and the Government of Mongolia; and (c) conduct a comprehensive review of the civil aviation sector and prepare a sector development plan (2010-2020).
Expected Outcome
A project design for second phase of Western Regional Road corridor and for logistics facility at Ulaanbaatar suitable for ADB-financing; and a sector development plan for civil aviation are agreed to by the Government of Mongolia and ADB.
