Summary

The proposed project will tackle the core problem of inefficient trade processes by rehabilitating facilities and providing modern equipment to three major border-crossing points (BCPs), upgrading the Customs Automated Information System, and conducting preparatory work for the establishment of a single-window system for trade-related regulatory requirements.

Expected Outcome

The project will reduce cost and time of compliance with trade procedures.

Expected Outputs

• Facilities and equipment at Altanbulag, Bichigt, and Zamiin–Uud BCPs are upgraded and improved
• Communication infrastructure for CAIS is improved and GACT systems are interoperable
• Preparatory work for single-window system undertaken
