Regional Economic Integration in Central Asia: Stocktaking and Experience Sharing

Summary

The technical assistance (TA) was designed as a stocktaking exercise of regional cooperation and integration (RCI) institutions, with a special focus on Central Asia, with the goal of enhancing RCI activities in the subregion.

Expected Outcome

The expected outcome is coming up with policy recommendations and suggestions to policy makers to improve the effectiveness of RCI institutions in Central Asia.

Expected Outputs

The expected outputs of the TA include (i) a stocktaking and assessment report on existing RCI institutions in Central Asia; (ii) research papers on RCI institutions in Central Asia; (iii) workshops and seminars to discuss research papers and disseminate their findings; and (iv) training programs for relevant government officials and regional institutions in Central Asia on selected RCI topics.
