Expected Outcome
The road project is expected to provide economic benefits to local communities and improve its access to education and health services, especially for the poor and ethnic minorities in the provinces of Bayan-Olgiy, Hovd, and Uvs. The outcome of the TA is expected to be an assessment of the viability of a proposed north-south corridor to link the People’s Republic of China and Russia via west Mongolia.
