National Focal Points Meeting on CAREC Institute

CAREC national focal points (NFPs) discussed the establishment of a physical base of the CAREC Institute in Urumqi, People's Republic of China. NFPs also endorsed a discussion paper that presents guiding principles and the organization framework for the CAREC Institute.

CAREC Workshop on Economic Corridor Development

The workshop, jointly organized by regional programs CAREC and the Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle (IMT-GT), aimed to share lessons in economic corridor development.

CAREC Consultation Workshop on Cross-Border Transport Facilitation (Kyrgyz Republic)

Representatives of the Asian Development Bank and the Kyrgyz Republic's Ministry of Transport and Communications met to discuss new regional technical assistance projects on cross-border transport facilitation in the CAREC region.
