24th CAREC Ministerial Conference

The theme of this year's CAREC Ministerial Conference is "Green and Digital CAREC," with an agenda featuring high-level sessions on physical and digital connectivity, trade, climate resilience, human development, and knowledge sharing, alongside signing ceremonies for key regional initiatives. The program will also include country statements, interventions from development partners, and the adoption of a joint ministerial statement.

19th CAREC Ministerial Conference

The conference provided an opportunity to hold high-level deliberations on the importance of regional cooperation to restore economic stability, support economic growth, and create jobs and livelihood opportunities in CAREC member countries affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

18th CAREC Ministerial Conference

Highlights of this year’s meeting include (i) a roundtable in discussion on the new CAREC Transport and Energy strategies and CAREC 2030 implementation and (ii) a high-level public–private dialogue on promoting sustainable tourism development in the CAREC region through public–private partnerships.

17th CAREC Ministerial Conference

This year’s ministerial conference focused on expanding regional trade and promoting economic diversification. CAREC ministers unanimously endorsed the CAREC Integrated Trade Agenda (CITA) 2030 and its Rolling Strategic Action Plan (RSAP) 2018–2030.

16th CAREC Ministerial Conference

The ministerial conference, held in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, was a cornerstone event for the CAREC Program as it involved endorsement by the ministers of a new CAREC strategy leading to 2030.

15th CAREC Ministerial Conference

CAREC ministers welcomed Georgia as the 11th country to join the program and expressed optimism that Georgia's participation could increase synergies in the region and strengthen economic ties through regional cooperation.
