ADB, with support from the Japan Fund for Prosperous and Resilient Asia and the Paciic, held an Inception Meeting and International Expert Roundtable on Strengthening Regional Cooperation on Skills Development under the CAREC Program on 30-31 May in Tbilisi, Georgia. .
The two-day event, which was held in a hybrid format, was opened by His Excellency Ambassador Akira Imamura of the Embassy of Japan in Georgia, GRM Country Director Shane Rosenthal and CWRC Director Lyaziza Sabyrova and attended by 40 participants. Discussions focused on key developments, challenges, and opportunities for collaboration on skills development, and the way forward for strengthening regional cooperation on skills development in the CAREC region.
