Regional Consultation Meeting for the CAREC Trade and Investment Facilitation (CARTIF) Concept
As a part of a structured dialogue with CAREC member countries on the CARTIF initiative, the ADB is hosting the first virtual Consultation Meeting with the CAREC trade focal points to discuss the CARTIF Concept with the following objectives:
- Presenting an overview and discussing the complete draft of the CARTIF Concept;
- Reviewing and analyzing feedback provided by the CAREC countries;
- Indicating interest of the CAREC countries in participating in the CARTIF chapters and initiating further discussions on the CARTIF text.
The objective of the meeting is also to move to the next step, which is the development of a draft text of the CARTIF by the international experts based on the agreed concep
