CAREC Energy Sector Coordinating Committee Meeting (July 2017)

The Energy Sector Coordinating Committee (ESCC) meeting was held at the Congress Hall of the Astana Expo 2017 in Kazakhstan.
Discussions were held on the future and financing of renewable energy, regional connectivity, prioritizing and financing clean energy technologies, the CAREC Electric Vehicles New Technology Roadmap, and the ADB Technical Assistance on Regional Cooperation on Renewable Energy Integration to the Grid.
The sessions featured guest presenters from National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Green Climate Fund, International Renewable Energy Agency, 50 Hertz, Astana Solar, RINA Consulting (formerly OST Energy), Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, World Bank, and Asian Development Bank.
