This is the curtain-raiser for the CAREC Startup Map and CAREC Innovation Network, featuring a discussion on the role of multilateral organizations in startup ecosystems and short presentations from CAREC Innovation Network members.\u202f\u202f <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\u202fCAREC Digital Strategy 2030<\/strong><\/a>\u202f was endorsed by the CAREC Ministerial Conference in November 2021. Promotion of innovation and entrepreneurship is one of the key pillars of the Strategy. The CAREC Secretariat is launching the CAREC Startup Map and CAREC Innovation Network to support this pillar by strengthening startup ecosystems.\u202f\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Startup Map will serve as a platform to locate and identify the various stakeholders in the startup ecosystem in the CAREC region. The Innovation Network will serve as the platform for building connections between startup ecosystem builders and stakeholders by sharing resources and developing a robust information network.\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the demo of the Startup Map and the Innovation Network, this event will host a discussion between multilateral and development organizations where they will share on-initiatives and avenues for collaboration to improve the region\u2019s startup ecosystems. After this, the members of the CAREC Innovation Network will pitch their country ecosystem to highlight the opportunities for growth and investments in startups.\u202f\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Diverse startup ecosystem players, including incubators and accelerators, investors, CAREC member governments, and development partners, will join the event and open the new chapter of the CAREC digital initiatives.\u202f<\/p>\n\n\n\n
