CAREC Workshop on Joint Transport and Trade Facilitation Capacity Building Framework

The workshop aimed to develop a consolidated transport and trade facilitation capacity-building framework for CAREC countries based on training needs assessments for the transport, customs, and trade logistics sectors.

Designated country representatives to the CAREC Regional Joint Transport and Trade Facilitation Committee and training specialists of government agencies involved in these sectors attended the workshop. They discussed the training needs of the sectors, proposed a capacity building framework to jointly address the identified training needs, and presented a work program to implement the capacity building strategy.
