Risk Management Workshop for the State Customs Service of the Republic of Tajikistan

The 3-day workshop was attended by 15 customs officials from Tajikistan to enhance their capacity to modernize risk management techniques.

Chang Ching Yu, country director for the Asian Development Bank Tajikistan Resident Mission, delivered the opening remarks.

The workshop is part of a regional technical assistance, funded by the Japan Fund for Poverty Reduction, which aims to align customs trade facilitation measures with best practices.

An assessment of existing risk management practices of the State Customs Service of Tajikistan was undertaken together with focus group discussions, practical exercises, and case studies.
