Public–Private Partnership Workshop: Lessons from Asian Experience

2009 - PPP Workshop Chengdu

The workshop considered detailed case studies of three international public-private partnership (PPP) projects in the transport, energy, and water sectors. Following an in-depth analysis of each case study, workshop participants discussed

  • the advantages and disadvantages of PPPs,
  • PPP success factors, and
  • key practical lessons CAREC countries can apply in planning and implementing PPP projects.

The workshop was developed and delivered by the CAREC Institute as part of the CAREC Private Sector Development Initiative endorsed by the 7th Ministerial Conference on CAREC.
