Ninth CAREC Transport Sector Coordinating Committee Meeting

The Transport Sector Coordinating Committee meeting (i) reviewed implementation of the CAREC Transport and Trade Facilitation Strategy Action Plan; (ii) discussed a proposed work plan for 2010-2012 and 5-year investment program; (iii) provided an update on the negotiations of the cross-border transport agreement between the Kyrgyz Republic and Tajikistan; and (iv) shared information on Trade Facilitation and Corridor Performance Measurement and Monitoring, the CAREC Senior Officials’ Meeting in April 2010, and the CAREC Business Development Forum in July 2010.
