Public Sector Management Course (Kyrgyz Republic)
The 2-day course provided middle- and senior-level government officials from ministries and public agencies with updated practical knowledge and new skills in public sector management and public finance, which include
- planning;
- decision making;
- partnerships and networking;
- managing financial resources; and
- leadership, innovation, and change.
Its modules aim to strengthen officials’ work within government institutions and enhance accountability, transparency, and efficiency in the use of public resources.
Lectures provided extensive examples and case studies of best practices and reforms in countries such as Singapore, Viet Nam, and the Republic of Korea.
The Public Sector Management Course is part of the ongoing capacity building initiative of the CAREC Institute‘s Leadership Development Initiative, in partnership with the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore.
