First in-person meeting of the CAREC Procurement & Supply Chain Management Sub-Working Group on Health
On 27-28 June in Tbilisi, ADB convened a 2-day workshop with CAREC Ministries of Health officials to enhance regional cooperation in health procurement and supply chains. The event focused on innovative approaches to regional risk management, market information sharing, and collaborative procurement of hard-to-access medical products, in line with the CAREC Health Strategy 2030. Sub-working group members reached consensus on key conceptual designs and endorsed the further development and piloting of practical solutions in these three priority areas.
