Dissemination Workshop on FTAs in CAREC (FTA Report)
As part of the ongoing activities of ADB’s knowledge and support technical assistance (TA) for Strengthening Knowledge and Capacities for the Design and Implementation of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) involving CAREC countries, the Regional Dissemination Workshop on FTA Report will be held on 19 August 2022, 13:00 – 15:30 (Manila time) via Zoom.
The objective of the event is to share findings and recommendations of the FTA Report among government officials and experts involved in trade policy development and FTA negotiations in CAREC countries. The FTA report consists of 2 parts: Part I – Trade Policy Issues in Moving Towards a CAREC FTA, and Part II – Empirical Assessment of Different Configurations of a CAREC FTA.
High-level officials from CAREC countries responsible for free trade and regional agreements, and experts from think tanks/research centers involved in trade related issues invited to participate in this regional workshop.
