CAREC Federation of Carrier and Forwarder Associations Logistics Training (December 2010)
As part of CFCFA’s capacity building program, the first logistics training covered the following topics:
- modern supply chain management,
- trade logistics,
- multi-modal transport, and
- trade logistics international best practices.
The training was co-organized by the Association of International Road Carriers of Uzbekistan and the Business Logistics Development Association, in cooperation with the Tashkent Automobile and Road Construction Institute (TARCI).
It attracted over 50 participants from local transport and logistics industries, trading companies, the Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, governmental agencies, and state-owned companies. Staff from CFCFA member associations, TARCI faculty members, and students also participated.
