CAREC Federation of Carrier and Forwarder Associations Business Networking Forum
The Forum attracted over 200 participants and provided an opportunity for the Chongqing government agencies, including customs, as well as transport operators and freight forwarders, to meet and network with their CAREC counterparts.
Representatives of transport operators and transport businesses from Central Asia demonstrated keen interest in expanding access to the PRC. More than a dozen companies from Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and other provinces of the PRC participated in the event.
Delegates made presentations on their respective associations, business opportunities, and trade facilitation efforts. Each country also had the opportunity to exhibit materials and hold discussions with their counterparts.
