  • activities which risked disruption due to dispersion of project teams (such as automated systems for customs data or ASYCUDA).
Expected Outcome:The project promotes better transit of goods and services and strengthen capacity of customs agencies in Afghanistan.
Expected Outputs:
  • More efficient customs and transit regime,
  • increased collecting capacity of the Afghanistan Customs Department and other collection agencies,
  • decreased trade transaction costs, and
  • appropriate measures to facilitate international trade.
