Second CAREC Federation of Carrier and Forwarder Associations (CFCFA) Logistics Training

Urumqi, People's Republic of China: 27–29 November 2011

The three-day training aimed to raise the level of professionalism, efficiency, and management skills of carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics companies in the region. It focused on

  • supply chain management,
  • multimodal transport, and
  • trade logistics management and development in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

Forty participants, mostly managers and officials of the Xinjiang Uygur Logistics Association (XULA)–affiliated companies attended the training. CFCFA organized the training in coordination with XULA and with assistance of the Asian Development Bank.
